We're finally coming out of the dungeon.

Yes, it's been about... wow... just under a year and a half since I last posted here and the ZFH has been updated. I'll be truly surprised if I get more than three comments from this thing.

As it is -- yes. You're not under an LSD hallucination - the Zelda Freak Hall is BACK. Streamlined, cleaned-up and ready to get back onto the tracks!

A lot of things have changed personally for me over the last year and a half, as I'm sure they've changed for everyone else. That said, I didn't want to do the same-ol same-ol -- and really the place needed to be cleaned up. As it is, I personally am working 40-50 hours a week and managing a graphic design team so my time is constrained as it is -- I just simply didn't have the time to do what we were doing before.

So - hence is the main reason for the largest change in the Zelda Freak Hall: Membership to the ZFH is no longer required to participate. This is because of two main reasons. First, as I said before, I do not have the time, nor do I wish to thrust onto anyone else the job of checking images, approving them, notifying the deviant, adding them to the list, adding them to the journal, posting them, etc. Second, I found that on a general basis, out of say 20 new members per week, 17 would fall off the face of the planet soon thereafter, so having to update lists etc. was mostly a pointless exercise.

So -- everyone is free to participate in the ZFH. Whether they played TOoT years ago and that's it, or if they have the triforce tattooed to the back of their hand, and everyone in between - all are welcome to join.

As for what we'll be doing -- all is explained in our featured image to the left of this journal. Our first contest and galleries will begin promptly at the beginning of June. As it states, these will be themed, so if you have ideas - send them our way or post them to this journal. Themes can and will vary so be ready.

And for those chomping at the bit for the Myriad Path -- the first one had concluded after I unceremoniously moved it to my own account. You can find more about it [link] -- the second one is poised to begin as soon as late this month, so be prepared to join up if interested.
